Esteban Hernández is a young Mexican dancer native of Guadalajara, who currently dances professionally with the San Francisco Ballet.
He began studying ballet with his father, Teacher Héctor Hernández Valle, at the age of seven years showing amazing technical skills and a special understanding of this activity.
He is the first Mexican to graduate with honors from the prestigious school Royal Ballet of London, in addition to his many achievements in some of the most prestigious competitions in the international ballet setting, such as the First Place in the Youth American Grand Prix in the United States, First Place at the Tenth International Competition in Havana, Cuba, First Place in the International Dance Competition in Berlin and a Gold Medal at the Youth Ballet Prix of St. Petersburg, Russia.
Among his awards stands out the National Youth Award in 2007 and being named by the famous international magazine Ballet Pointe Magazine as some of the “best of the best in the world of contemporary ballet.” He also participated in the filming of the documentary First Position and recently in the recording of the video tribute to former Beatle George Harrison.
