RE-IMAGINE

Today we start the RE-IMAGINE segment with the exciting performance of RADAID, a musical group that fuses styles such as rock, trip hop, electronic and contemporary.
Craig Wright (Yale University) presented the genius and the rivalry of Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla and Denise Budd (Columbia & Rutgers University), an expert in Renaissance art, spoke about the artistic talent of Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo.

RE-BORN

The RE-BORN section was inaugurated by the duo formed by Aisha Corona on the violin, and his brother Alejandro on piano, young award-winning talents who masterfully interpreted Beethoven, followed by Mexican composer Tomás Barreiro, who analyzed Beethoven’s influence on films.
Michael Alec Rose (Vanderbilt University) allowed us to listen to the music of Beethoven and The Beatles and showed us the impressive connection between both of them.

RE-SILENCE

RE-SILIENCE’s amazing beginning was the interpretation of Horacio Franco, the renowned flutist and director of music, who awakened our sensibility with an original indigenous work from Puebla “The dance of the historical mirror”, ending with another piece by J.S. Bach.
We ended with the presentation of La Infinita Compañía, a contemporary ballet staging accompanied by nothing less than Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
