Roemer has authored 17 essay books, like Sexualidad, derecho y políticas públicas (Sexuality, Law and Public Policies) in 1998, and Economía del crimen (Crime Economics) in 2000, among others. He has collaborated on oeuvres like What to Think about Machines That Think: Today’s Leading Thinkers with the essay Tulips in my Robot’s Tomb” (2015); furthermore, he has written 2 plays: Oskar y Jack (Oskar and Jack) in 2011, and El otro Einstein (The other Einstein) in 2008.
In addition, Microsoft Corporation created the Microsoft Award “Andres Roemer” for distinction in service to the community of scholars.
Dr. Roemer is the curator and co-founder of the “International Festival of Bright Minds, La Ciudad de las Ideas.”
