Alan Pingarrón is a renowned Mexican tenor. He began his singing studies in 2001 and currently continues his improvement of vocal technique with Professor Leonardo Mortera. In 2003, he entered the National School of Music in Mexico City, under the direction of Rufino Montero. Currently, he is a fellow of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts. He is a blind person with an extraordinary voice, always demonstrating great confidence on stage.
He was awarded the Gabino Barreda Medal for obtaining the highest average in his singing studies. He has participated in different competitions such as Francisco Araiza where he won second place; and as special guest in the final of the second and third edition of the National Opera Singing Competition of San Miguel where he won the Artesana Prize as an artist with extraordinary potential.
Alan has performed at the Palacio de Bellas Artes on several occasions and at the most important theaters and festivals in Mexico. He has been directed by outstanding directors such as Sergio Cárdenas, José Areán, Enrique Patrón de Rueda, Enrique Barrios, among others; collaborating with major national orchestras such as the UNAM Philharmonic, Xalapa Symphony, Yucatan Symphony, Jalisco State Philharmonic, Chamber of Fine Arts Orchestra, among others.
