Marcin Patrzałek is an 18 year old Polish fingerstyle guitarist and winner of the biggest Polish TV talent show “Must be The Music”. Marcin is most well known for his guitar arrangements and compositions which gather millions of views online. His music background began with classical guitar, which he started playing at the age of 10. He won many prestigious classical international competitions including the Joaquin Rodrigo Festival. In the meantime he became interested in flamenco music, studying it under the guidance of Spanish virtuoso Carlos Pinana. Shortly afterwards he discovered yet another style: Acoustic Fingerstyle. It was the style he reckoned most exciting and fitting for his approach to music. After several years of practicing Marcin worked out a unique technique and style which ended up in developing his own approach to Percussive Fingerstyle. It extensively utilizes percussion elements on the guitar body, sophisticated techniques and polyrhythms. Some of his arrangements were later published by well-known institutions like Candyrat Records or Metal Hammer, where his percussive fingerstyle arrangement of Toxicity by SOAD reached over 30 million views with incredibly positive responses. This success gave him more international recognition which brought - among others - an invitation from Ibanez Guitars to become their endorsed artist. In November 2016 Marcin released his debut album “HUSH”, which comprises his guitar compositions and arrangements, with occasional elements of electronic and orchestral production. Marcin has also completed Jazz Improvisation course in Berklee College of Music. He is an author of many compositions and arrangements, all of which you can see on Marcin’s social media.
