“We never prepared ourselves to be dancers, we never wanted to be dancers. We just liked creating routines and dancing them and enjoy it.”
Martin and Facundo Lombard are two artists and world renowned performers born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They started dancing at age 7, inspired by Michael Jackson, and made their debut at age 13 in Argentina’s popular program Rhythm Of The Night.
Soon after, the Lombard twins met James Brown during a concert and were called on stage to dance. In admiration of their talent, Mr. Brown called them “soul boys.” Their passion has led them to devote much time to teaching dance, drama and film study, as well as classical music.
At the age of 21, they moved to New York City to pursue their dreams and learned to tap dance surrounded by many of the best tap dancers in the world at Tap Jams of Dr. Buster Brown.
They ended up doing more performances with James Brown and Tito Puente met in the film The Mambo Kings, who made ??their first appearance tap dancing. Throughout their career, have been presented in Vogue and ad campaigns for Versus/Versace photographed by Steven Meisel. They have also appeared on the cover of several other magazines dance.
