“Wild Ones the Jon Mooallem’s book is as funny as it is said, beautifully observed and written and wiser about the human condition than any thing I’ve read in a long time.”
- Michael Pollan.

Wild Ones was chosen as a notable book of 2013 by The New York Times Book Review, The New Yorker, Outside Magazine and Canada’s National Post among others.
Jon has contributed to The New York Times Magazine since 2006, and also, to The New Yorker, Wired, This American Life and many other magazines and radio shows.
