Autor y conferencista popular que se ha convertido en uno de los principales defensores del cristianismo. Es un exitoso debatiente y un exanalista político de la administración del presidente Reagan. Entre sus publicaciones más recientes se encuentra Qué es tan maravilloso del cristianismo (What’s So Great About Christianity), una respuesta a la reciente ola de libros ateos que critican al teísmo y particularmente al cristianismo. También es autor de Vida después de la muerte: La evidencia (Life After Death: The Evidence), Educación no liberal (Illiberal Education), El fin del racismo (The End of Racism) y Las raíces de la furia de Obama (The Roots of Obama’s Rage), entre otros éxitos. Ha debatido con ateos como Christopher Hitchens, Peter Singer, Daniel Dennett y Michael Shermer en varias ocasiones. En el otoño del 2010, Dinesh D’Souza fue nombrado presidente del Colegio Kings (King’s College), institución cristiana localizada en el Edificio Empire State en la ciudad de Nueva York.
Sin duda, Dinesh se caracteriza por ser un escritor prolífico, polémico y persuasivo. Ha sido nombrado como uno de los pensadores conservadores más influyentes por la revista The New York Times.
