Aisha and Alejandro Corona were born in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. Young siblings and illustrious musicians with a surprising skill and mastership over their instruments, Aisha on violin and Alexander on piano. They began their musical instruction from an early age, entering the Higher Institute of Music of the State of Veracruz.
Their parents, Nicte-Ha Aguilar and Alejandro Corona, are classically trained pianists and jazz lovers. From a very young age, Aisha and Alejandro have surprised with their virtuosity and discipline, being awarded and recognized in various places of Mexico and abroad. 2020 has been his most celebrated year.
Aisha has won four very important international competitions: first place in the Best Mozart Performance International Music Competition; in July, first place in the Best Wieniawski Performance International Music Competition, second place in the ENKOR Violin International Competition and excellence award at the Singapore Violin Festival 2020.Alejandro won first place in the Best Mendelssohn Performance International Music Competition, the first place in the Best Bach Performance International Music Competition —both based in London– and was the winner of the international Grand Prize Virtuoso competition held in Salzburg, Austria.
